Towhead

American Blonde

Marrying the best elements of traditional German golden ales and classic Midwestern wheats, this American Blonde lives up to Mother’s expectations. Towhead is refreshingly light-bodied with flavor that won’t quit. It starts slightly sweet with hints of fruit and finishes with the faintest hop kiss that’ll leave you reaching for another. And another.

Towhead is Mother’s little blonde baby. We’ve captured a subtle blend of sweet, fruity flavors—well suited for close examination yet balanced enough to go down smooth, clean, and crisp when you just want something cold and tasty.

BREWMASTER'S ORIGINAL NOTES*

0-40% wheat & 10-20% Vienna malt. Round out with Hersbrucker, Santiam, US / GR Tettnang hops. Very drinkable w/ low cohumolone hops for mild bitterness and a pleasant to med-strong hop kiss. Light to medium body and keep the alkalinity down. What yeast? Maybe Kölsch, wheat, or Belgian. Brilliant gold color.

See what food goes well with Towhead American Blonde beer.

If you’re doing drinks and food, Towhead goes great with lighter fish, like halibut or even traditional fish and chips. It’s also great with poultry, crab legs and other shellfish, salads, vinaigrettes, sheep and goat cheeses, and most pork dishes.

Towhead American Blonde beer goes great with plenty of plans.

You’ll always love Towhead, but we find it’s perfect with good ol’ American fun: watching your favorite band pluck the strings in concert; golf; cookouts; fishing and camping—preferably in the Ozark Mountains; and football games—watching or getting your ass off the couch and playing.
