Our first release from Mother’s Cupboard, Mr. Pumpkin is a medium bodied, copper color ale. With just the right blend of 2 Row, Caramel, and Crystal malts, pumpkin and spices, Mother’s has created one yummy pint of love. Perfect after dinner in lieu of dessert, or for a night out on the town.
Mr. Pumpkin is a mild mannered salesman by day, but a wild card at night. Enjoy out doors on cool fall nights, or when slaving over the stove making that holiday dinner for the in-laws. If pie can be for breakfast, well it certainly should work as beer. Plus you don't have to worry about mastering your grandmother’s piecrust recipe. BREWMASTER'S ORIGINAL NOTES*
Copper colored medium to medium-light bodied. Pale ale, Crystal 35, touch of Roast. Pumpkin and pie spice. Very little hops. Roast pumpkin before addition for some carmelization. Spices in kettle and post fermentation. Where do we do the roasting? Nose of pie, taste of beer with hints of pie.

Mr. Pumpkin goes great with things like roasted turkey, potato soup,and salads. Or, if you want to live a little, just open a bottle of Mr. Pumpkin, get yourself a big ole' scoop of vanilla ice cream and pour Mr. Pumpkin right over the ice cream. Now you're talking good eats!
Mr. Pumpkin is always a good time, but we find it goes great as an escape from the in-laws during those long holiday weekends. Or if you love your in-laws and actually enjoy your time with them, Mr. Pumpkin makes quite the nice holiday gift. Any way you look at it, Mr. Pumpkin is perfect for all your holiday occasions!
